Which partner are you most compatible with? According to Chinese Astrology, opposites attract. You will typically see this information shown on a complex Affinity Triangle.
Here is a simplified table version of the Affinity Triangle. Pick your animal from the first row, e.g. dragon. Then go down the column and see who you are most compatible with. In this case, it is rat and monkey. You can also pick the animal from the 1st column and then go across the row. Both methods work and you get the same answers. This compatibility chart works for both business and personal relationship. So if you are deciding on a business partner or a mate, let Chinese Astrology be your guide.
According to Chinese legend, Buddha requested all the animals to visit him before
he left earth. Only twelve animals came to see him. Buddha named each year according
to the twelve animals.
The Chinese calendar is called a lunar calendar. Each month
begins with a new moon. The beginning of the Chinese New Year does not coincide
with the western calendar. It falls somewhere around late January to late February
of the western calendar every year. To find the animal that corresponds to your birth
year, use the following table. Begin by selecting the decade that you were born.
Then proceed down to the column until you find the Chinese Lunar Year that contains
your birth date. Look to the left of the table and you will discover your animal.
